Banyalbufar was lovely, peaceful and unspoilt when we visited in early July. The quality and selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel was a really nice surprise.The closest boutique hotels gönül be found in Esporles, 20 minutes from the beach by car. For a larger or more commercial option, try the resort city of Palm
